Toshiba Develops PC Remote Control Software

Giving users the means to access their computers via a mobile phone, Toshiba has introduced new mobile software that turns phones into a computer remote control.
As reported by PCPro:
"Dubbed the Ubiquitous Viewer, the program can connect a user to any Windows-based computer and run applications, and add, edit and delete files. It also gives access to email, browser and other resources on the target PC in real time.
It sounds like a hacker's dream to have this already enabled, but Toshiba assures us that the connection is made through encrypted SSL channels which can only be initiated with the correct password."
The software is expected to make a March debut in Asia, while moving to other geographic regions in the future.
