Graphics hardware company ATI has brought PCI Express graphics to the notebook industry with the introduction of its X700 PCI Express graphics processor.

This new technology allows ATI to bring their graphics hardware to mobile computers. According to TechSpot, "This PCI Express-based graphics processor will be offered as a mainstream solution, and comes with eight pixel pipelines, six vertex engines and support for 128-bit DDR, DDR2 and GDDR3 memory."

The new processor also supports HyperMemory. This allows the card to utilize system resources instead of the on-board-memory. These features will help notebook computers be more capable of handling high-end graphics.
